This event is officially an Iron Gauntlet Qualifier!

Approximately 70% of the total entry fees shall be allocated to the winners; Approximately 60% of the prize pool will go to the tournament winner, and the remaining will be divided between the runners-up, with the precise number of runners-up determined by the overall attendance. All prizes will be dispensed in the form of store credit.

Example: 16 players; Winner £68, Second £32, Third £12

Tournament Schedule

  • Opening Time: 9:00am
  • First Round: 9:30am
  • Round Duration: Each round shall last for a duration of 140 minutes, culminating in a total of 3 rounds (up to 8 players) or 4 rounds (9 to 16 players).
Breaks:

  • A 10-minute break will follow the first round.
  • A 40-minute lunch intermission will be provided following the conclusion of the second round.
  • A subsequent 10-minute break will follow the third round.

Tournament Administration

All tournament bookkeeping will be meticulously managed through the Longshanks platform, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all participants. The link to the Longshanks page is here.

Model Requirements

(As per the Steamroller Rules declared by Steamforged Games)

Participants are required to utilise 'official' models exclusively. (I.e no fakes or copies)

Supplement to this, all models must be "What you see, is what you get" so correct wargear.

Any conversions must be clearly pointed out to the opponent before the game, and the end result of any conversion must be clearly identifiable as the intended model.

All models must show a minimum of three distinct colours and must be appropriately based.

Where a model can not make of 3 colours, a finished model will be enough.

Tournament Specifications

Standard games of 100 points per player. Each player is expected to have two army lists with a different leader for each.

Scenarios will be determined ahead of time, and announced at the start of each round, with everyone playing the same scenario.

Pairings will go up 5 minutes before a given round to allow people to find their tables. Pre game set up will be included in the round timer of 140 minutes.

Feedback

We will be distributing an opinion form during the event. Completing this will allow us to adapt the various components, entry fee, size of game, length of round, start time, etc, to the demands of the wider community.
